Young Drama is National Performing Academy’s drama course, brought to you by professional theatre producers.
Next term at our Cambridge drama school is ‘Masterclass Term’, students will take part in an exciting end-of-term Christmas production to be performed in a professional theatre!
Not only will they be learning essential acting, self-confidence, and teamwork skills, but they’ll also get to put them to work and showcase their talents.

Frequently asked questions
You might have some questions regarding our auditions. Here are our answers to some of our FAQs!
We ask that auditionees wear comfortable clothing and suitable shoes that don’t restrict movement, with black or dark colours preferred. We also ask that long hair is tied back, and each child has a drink and a snack.
Our workshop auditions are structured similarly to a normal class, so there’s no need to prepare ahead of time as everything will be taught on the day.
We’re committed to ensuring the safety of our students. All of our staff are Enhanced DBS checked, and there will always be a qualified First Aider on site.
You’re welcome to use the College’s parking on Purbeck Road, CB2 8HY (off from Hills Road).
There will be signage to the Main Hall from the car park.
After you’ve booked your child’s audition place in the above form, one of our team members will get in touch via email within two days with further information regarding the audition.

Meet the Young Drama teaching staff
Having been on stage since the age of five, Lorenzo has performed throughout the UK and internationally in various Shakespeare productions, musicals, pantomimes and plays.
He turned his passion into directing and producing theatre, and has been working with young actors since 2016 to develop their skills and give them great performance opportunities.
After completing her training, Ewa’s been coaching young actors to excel while undergoing auditions, rehearsals, performances, and filming.
Working throughout the UK, she loves motivating students, helping them improve their craft, and give them the confidence to shine both on and off stage.
