Bottom's Dream

a comedy adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

About the show

On Midsummer’s Night, the real and fairy worlds collide.

Deep in the magical forest, a feuding King and Queen cross paths with a group of amateur actors rehearsing a play for an upcoming royal wedding.

Magic and mayhem ensue, the cheeky actor Nick Bottom gets his head turned into an ass, and no one but the mischievous Puck knows what is true and what is magic.

Presented by students of the National Performing Academy’s Young Drama programme, this reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic will transport you to the most enchanting of midsummer nights.

“I will get Peter Quince to write a ballad of this dream. It shall be called 'Bottom's Dream', because it hath no bottom"

A £1.50 booking fee is included in the price of each ticket.
